Brian the Lion
I am an electrical engineer from South Africa with a massive interest in home recording using Ubuntu Studio (’cause I’m a cheapo). I play drums primarily with some guitar, vocals and a tiny bit of piano on the side. My aim is to empower small bands and home recording fanatics by writing up what I know and what I learn as I go along. I try to keep my blog down to earth and practical, qualities which are often lacking in opensource websites. I also feel it is important to allow feedback from my readers and I encourage you to support the website in this way. From this, we will be able to build up a useful community around opensource recording. After all, that is what Ubuntu is all about.
