I just wanted to say thanks for this site. I am a hobbyist when it comes to recording, mostly out of necessity because no one else in my band has the inclination to do it. I started recording a couple years ago with the Firepod and the included Cubase LE. We took a hiatus from recording and after 18 months off, we unpacked the Firepod and I decided to try Ubuntu Studio.

I love it. I still don’t know what I’m doing half the time, but so far I can record and mix somewhat. I’m still figuring out what everything is, but this site has helped immensely.

I did notice however that there hasn’t been a post in a long while, and am curious if you will be adding new content? If not, too bad, but there is a wealth of good information here already and most of it is easier to follow compared to some of the books and other resources I’ve found.

I will keep checking back and eagerly await anymore tips and tricks.
